I am currently a tutor in the University Writing Center. Here we see a variety of disciplines, the majority of them being primarily academic, though we do get professional writing documents as well. I think being a tutor is a really important part of academics. It allows students to get the best of both worlds- "part peer, part teacher." It allows for more free thinking and progress.
