I am working towards my Math Education degree for Middle grades at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. My current GPA is a 2.9 (due to troubles with a previous major before I switched to Math education). I am a junior and plan to graduate by 2018. I have taken many math classes since I have been here and am currently taking education classes to help my goal of becoming a teacher in the future.
Experience
I have tutored for many years in high school. I have taken many math classes in my years in school and have always received A's. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching people math and showing them that math can be fun and not dreaded. All the students I tutored in High school were able to pass their tests with good grades and always recommended my to their friends when they needed help.

Hobbies
I play in the UNCP marching band as a flute. I have played the flute for 16 years and counting. I crochet in my spare time as well as read. I love hanging out with friends, but I always put my homework first. I put all of my effort towards everything I do all the time. I am very trustworthy, reliable, outgoing, and energetic. I try to teach both visually and using facts.
