Education
My name is Michael, I am a junior at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. My major is Philosophy and Religious Studies with minors in Business/Financing and Computer Sciences. After I finish my undergrad. I plan to pursue graduate school at either UNC-Chapel Hill, Princeton Theological Seminary or Duke Divinity. I plan on getting my Masters of Divinity, also known as a MDiv. Then I would like to get my ThD, Doctorate of Theology and then possibly teach at an University or grad. school.
Experience
I have been tutoring on and off for the past 2 years. Most of the topics on study were usually: history; philosophy; computer science and business. I love being able to help those who sometimes cannot fully understand it, or just help them see it from a different perspective. I made a 1320 out of a 1600 on my SAT when I was in High School and currently I have a 3.0 GPA cumulative. My GPA is lower than I would like it to be due to my typical freshman year experience as most individuals would put it. Also I feel that tutoring is a great way to show students the value of an education, and to share with them the importance of a proper education in these days. Education is our quest, as students, for knowledge and it should be taken to lightly.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading and writing, mostly on philosophical ideologies. I am a active particpant in my fraternity, Theta Xi, also I am currently the Vice President of UNC-Pembroke's Baptist Campus Ministry, which is our Christian oriented "social organization" on campus. I feel that being involved with other students and the environment in which we live and work is important in the enhancement of our education.
