I am working towards my Math Education degree for Middle grades at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. My current GPA is a 2.9 (due to troubles with a previous major before I switched to Math education). I am a junior and plan to graduate by 2018. I have taken many math classes since I have been here and am currently taking education classes to help my goal of becoming a teacher in the future.
Experience
I have tutored for many years in high school. I have taken many math classes in my years in school and have always received A's. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching people math and showing them that math can be fun and not dreaded. All the students I tutored in High school were able to pass their tests with good grades and always recommended my to their friends when they needed help.
